Reception Venue
Our reception venue is a Mexican restaurant which has 3 locations in Chicago and 1 in Indianapolis. It is not a chain! Originally, we were only going to book the banquet room, but as weddings go, our guest list grew. Now, we are going to rent the entire restaurant for the reception.
Currently, we're working out the food situation since we'll end up having what most consider a late dinner. If we could start earlier, I would have cocktail hour upstairs, dinner downstairs, and then mingling up- and downstairs with dancing downstairs. However, again, with the lateness of our event, I don't think that's going to work.

Reception Decor
We're going to use lotería cards as escort cards like the second image in the first row. However, we will use lotería nueva rather than the older version since the colors are more vibrant and they don't include certain outdated references. Also, we plan to use more cards as the table numbers.
Since the restaurant has so much art and color around it, we're only using votives on the tables as the decor. We're still debating on table runners.
Finally, we will be placing the hurricanes with metal inserts from below on the slate steps that lead to the lounge.
